We booked Hotel Artemide on the strength of the excellent Tripadvisor reviews and, as ever, it proved to be failsafe way of finding a great hotel - it did not disappoint. We were extremely lucky to be upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite for our 4 night stay (room 502) complete with sizeable roof terrace and outdoor jacuzzi, of course it greatly exceeded any expectations that we had. From what we saw of the other rooms, they all looked of a really good standard with welcome ‘treats’ (including a free mini-bar) and everywhere exceptionally clean. The hotel is in a great location with all the main attractions being within walking distance. There is a spa, a rooftop terrace bar and restaurant and a separate dining area on the ground floor used for a very agreeable buffet breakfast with plenty of choice and impeccable service. As many reviews have indicated, it is the quality of the staff that set the bar really high - the reception/concierge team (apart from one faintly abrupt gentleman), housekeeping, the breakast staff and the bar staff were all charming and genuinely keen to offer a first-class service, thank you to all of them. Just one small gripe : the restaurant recommendations from the concierges all seemed a bit formulaic and pre-ordained and not necessarily geared to what we were looking for. The one restaurant we did try from their list was, at best, average, something backed up by average Tripadvisor reviews (should have checked.) But this shouldn’t put you off staying at this hotel - it is really good and 7600+ "excellent" reviews rather make the point. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights after a cruise. Accommodations were well appointed. The staff was super helpful. The restaurant (Ambrosia) on the roof was very good, again with helpful staff. Included breakfast was fabulous. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel Artemide shines with its prime location and comfortable city-style rooms, perfect for short stays. Conveniently close to attractions, trains, and dining options, it offers a well-curated breakfast and attentive service. However, a cautionary tale emerges: a mishap during check-in resulted in a broken laptop, with no apology or compensation offered. When choosing this hotel, exercise caution with bellman services to safeguard your belongings.

Where to begin!! We just finished up our vacation in Rome. Hotel Artemide is centrally located and an easy walk to most attractions. The hotel is clean, updated and very well appointed. We ate at the rooftop restaurant and it was delicious. Our stay included breakfast and it was amazing. The maitre D at breakfast, Alessandro Redi was outstanding, he greeted everyone with a friendly smile and hello. He was attentive to all the guests while paying a very close eye on how the restaurant was run. If you going to Rome I highly recommend Hotel Artemide!

Located in the city of Rome. Few minutes away from Trevi fountain, Pantheon. Colosseum, Shopping district and churches. Breakast is great. Staff are charming, accommodating and friendly. There were minor lapses in the housekeeping but showed sincerest apology, thanks for the basket of fruits with a card. It could have been a perfect score if we were accommodated for a spa service as a hotel guest. A plus factor, mini bar is free and supplies are replenished daily. Still highly recommended
